A Postcard From Yellowstone: A Message Of HopeI had no hope whatsoever that this would work, but if I’m peddling anything today, it is hope. In fact, we have a whole “hope factory” here at the end of the video, mostly women, mostly north of 45, representing an under-represented group in cases like this. Shelley saw my photos nearly a year ago and is down 100 herself and still going. She’s created a little viral sensation in her small Texas town. Anna and Lisa live near me in California’s diabetes and obesity capital of Tulare County and have improved their blood sugar and weight and are inspiring friends and family to do the same. There is a guy in Delano, California who is 30 pounds below his high school graduation rate, sending all of the 45+ year old women of Delano to the Bear group. (Thanks, cuz!) “Seeing is believing” but also “seeing is hope” and it takes our friends and family seeing us to get that extra energy and focus to get started on a life-changing path. Do me a favor — do all of us a favor — post your photo here. Post an “after” photo or a “progress” photo or a “Day 1” photo. Who’s going to Yellowstone this year? If we have to hop a bunch of trains like hobos or do some massive Photoshop campaign with a 45th parallel sign, we need stories and photos! Who’s in? State your intention right here!!!!
