Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Grate your cheddar cheese if it's not already grated.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking sheet.
Place 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese in circles on the baking sheet, leaving at least two inches between each round. The rounds will spread a bit as the cheese melts.
Place the baking sheet in the oven for five minutes (and possibly seven or eight), until the edges of the taco shells begin to brown.
Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 1-3 minutes before racking them as described.
Let them cool on the rack for at least ten minutes before removing.
