  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 T cooking oil or butter
  • 1 T mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 4 T keto sugar substitute e.g. erythritol or 8 mini-scoops of stevia powder
  • 1 T molasses or keto brown sugar substitute
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper


  1. Chop onion and bell pepper.
  2. Mince garlic.
  3. Heat up oil in skillet.
  4. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to skillet. Sautee for about 15 minutes, until the begin to caramelize.
  5. Add garlic. Sautee for about two minutes, taking care that the garlic not burn.
  6. Add mustard powder and tomato paste to skillet, mixing skillet contents well.
  7. Add ground beef to skillet. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to cook thoroughly and consistently.
  8. Add the sweeteners and salt and pepper.
  9. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, and sweetness.
